The Current Events Toolkit provides teachers with materials to help their students think through and understand complex and sometimes controversial current events. It includes tools and guidance for engaging in initial conversations about current events and for digging deeper into current events topics. Additional guides and recommended resources for discussing specific current event topics are in development and will be added to this toolkit. The toolkit was designed with middle and high school students in mind, but some elements could also be adapted for the elementary level.
